The beautiful Diana Rudenok of Muse

I was reading the Style Section of the New York Times this past Sunday. The breath taking photo of Lillian Bassman’s of Suzy Parker in “the Little Black Dress”evokes yesterday’s and one can not help but think of Elizabeth Taylor. What better tribute to Miss Taylor than a Black Dress, a Cocktail and True Elegance.

The current fads for artisanal liquor, louche bars and everything ‘‘Mad Men’’ must have inspired ‘‘Cocktail Culture: Ritual and Invention in American Fashion, 1920-1980,’’ an exhibition that opens Friday (and continues through July) at the Museum of Art at the Rhode Island School of Design. It features more than 220 artifacts, including a Dansk ice bucket, a Norman Bel Geddes soda siphon, Paco Rabanne purses and lots of little black dresses. – Source New York Times
